The
idea for this comic came up not long after posting
Comic 40, when I realized that Damian might have been
visiting Corvus before his death, rather than Pywright
as noted in the comic (them being the two major US
cities in my fictional universe). Upon referencing my
own book to double-check the facts, the contradiction
was in fact there. But rather than simply fixing a
single word in the comic to avoid "lying"
about the facts, I thought it might make for a decent
slice-of-life comic for Hikari to be doing the
"lying" instead.
It also makes for a nice conclusion to the three-part
"Blue" arc, ending with Hikari's squinty
eyes and snaggletooth (which have been absent since
the start of the arc). |
